AP: Bodies of 4 TN fishermen found in capsized boat

Ongole, Nov 5 (UNI) Bodies of four Tamil Nadu fishermen were found in a capsized boat in the sea which drifted towards Kothapatnam village in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday.
Efforts are being made to identify the deceased fishermen and pull out the capsized boat, Prakasam district Collector Rajababu told the media here.
He said that four teams of fishermen had ventured into the sea from Chennai a few days ago. Three fishing boats safely reached Ramayapatnam fishing harbor and anchored. Another boat with 15 fishermen on board reached Nizampatnam fishing harbor. But after sailing some distance from Nizampatnam, it capsized in the sea under the impact of the Marusu cyclone.
Collector Rajababu said that information has been received from the Tamil Nadu fishing department that 15 fishermen had ventured into the sea on the ill-fated boat. A massive search has been launched to trace the remaining fishermen, the Collector said.
The Collector clarified that the officials here had no previous information about the Tamil Nadu fishermen sailing from Kotthapatnam to Ramayapatnam.
