Addressing the programme, RINL Chairman and Managing Director stressed that vigilance meant performing one's duties honestly and with integrity.
It should not prevent officials from taking decisions, but ensure that every task was carried out in a transparent manner, he said.
RINL Chief Vigilance Officer said the principles of probity should be incorporated into everyday life and official work.
Chief Guest Dr S. Kishore, IAS, former Chairman of the Staff Selection Commission, emphasised the importance of preventive vigilance and system studies to identify areas for improvement.

The week-long observance featured several awareness and outreach activities involving employees, students and the public.
Competitions included elocution, essay writing, street plays, quizzes, slogan writing, poster-making and painting by differently abled children.
A street play presented by schoolchildren was among the highlights of the valedictory programme.
The dignitaries distributed prizes to winners of various competitions.
