Arms recovered in Manipur operation

Imphal, June 13 (UNI) Security personnel and Manipur Police launched operations in three different areas during the last 24 hours and recovered arms and ammunition.

The police said a 9 mm carbine with magazine, two 9 mm pistols with magazine, live rounds and empty cases were recovered from a hideout at Karyam village in Tengnoupal district.

In another operation, two 12 bore single barrel rifle, one .32 pistol along with one empty magazine, live rounds, cartridge, and other items were recovered from Champhai Village, Imphal East district.

In another operation one 303 rifle along with a magazine, 9 mm pistol along with magazines , clothes, war like materials recovered from Ikop Pat under Thoubal-PS, Thoubal District.
