Arrangements reviewed for CM's virtual inauguration of 16 projects in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam, Sept 21 (UNI) Bheemunipatnam MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao and GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg on Monday inspected arrangements at the V-Convention Centre in Madhurawada for Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's virtual inauguration of 16 development projects on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the projects virtually from Kuppam as part of the Hybrid Annuity Model programme.
During the inspection, Srinivasa Rao reviewed arrangements for seating, parking, digital screens, drinking water, food and other facilities and directed officials to ensure that people attending the programme faced no inconvenience.
He also instructed officials to install digital screens and LED displays at suitable locations for public viewing of the virtual programme, scheduled from 1030 to 1230 hours.
The MLA also sought details of projects being inaugurated by the Chief Minister on behalf of GVMC and VMRDA and arrangements for screening videos related to the projects.
Garg said the 16 projects comprised 13 GVMC projects and three VMRDA projects.
The Commissioner later inspected the stage, seating, parking, sanitation and drinking water arrangements and directed Additional Commissioner P M Satyaveni to ensure installation of digital screens and LED displays and continuous monitoring of sanitation at the venue.
Officials were also instructed to make systematic arrangements for food, drinking water and other facilities for the public.
GVMC Chief Engineer P V V Satyanarayana Raju, VMRDA Chief Engineer Vinay Kumar, GVMC Superintending Engineer Yedukondalu, Chief Medical Officer Dr Krishnam Raju, Executive Engineers and other officials participated in the inspection.
