SCR GM inaugurates new facilities at Railway Mixed High School

Hyderabad, Sept 21 (UNI) South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava on Monday inaugurated newly developed facilities at Railway Mixed High School, South Lallaguda, and urged students to utilise them for their overall development.
The facilities include a children's garden, common dining area, cultural and dance space, music room, school health unit and a renovated auditorium.
Additional General Manager Satya Prakash, Principal Chief Personnel Officer Siddharth Kati, Hyderabad Divisional Railway Manager Santosh Kumar Verma and other senior officials were present.
Established in 1907, Railway Mixed High School, South Lallaguda is one of the major schools on Indian Railways and has been providing education for more than a century.
The school has well-furnished classrooms, a library, computer, biology and physics laboratories, a Tinkering Lab, cultural facilities and sports infrastructure.
The newly developed facilities include Kinder Kart for children's recreation, Tripti as a common dining area, Deepika House for cultural activities and Kuchipudi, Jayashree House for Carnatic vocal music and Sushruta, a dedicated school health unit.
The auditorium has seating capacity for around 60 to 80 people.
Speaking on the occasion, Srivastava said educational institutions played an important role in shaping the future of students and advised them to make full use of the newly developed facilities.
He also urged students to strive for excellence and bring laurels to the Railways through their achievements.
