Arunachal CM, Dy CM mourn Vijay Rupani’s demise

Itanagar, June 13 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein have expressed profound grief over the untimely demise of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who tragically lost his life in the Air India flight AI 171 crash in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
In a heartfelt message, Khandu said, “I am deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Shri Vijay Rupani Ji. His visionary leadership, humility, and unwavering commitment to the people will always be remembered.”
Extending his condolences, the Chief Minister added, “My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May the Almighty grant him sadgati and give strength to his bereaved family and friends in this difficult time. Om Shanti.”
Deputy CM Chowna Mein also conveyed his grief, stating: “Saddened by the untimely demise of former Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani ji in the tragic crash of Air India Flight AI 171. His passing has left a void that words can scarcely fill.
His unwavering commitment to Gujarat’s progress and compassionate governance earned him deep respect across all walks of life. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May they find strength and solace in this difficult time.”
The tragic incident has sent shockwaves across the nation, and leaders from all quarters have come forward to pay tribute to the departed leader, who served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2016 to 2021, remembering his legacy of public service and dedication to inclusive development.
