In a circular, the board advised schools to enable digital payments at key touchpoints, including fee counters, canteens, and libraries, while institutions in areas with poor internet connectivity have been asked to consider low-bandwidth and offline solutions such as UPI Lite, UPI LiteX, and UPI 123PAY.
