More News17 Sep 2026 | 9:28 PMNew Delhi, Sep 17 (UNI) The Centre has fixed ₹25,000 per month as the wage ceiling for the purposes of Chapter III of the Code on Social Security, 2020, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment on Thursday.
The new wage ceiling will come into effect from the date of publication of the notification in the Official Gazette.
The ministry issued the notification, S.O. 5109(E), in exercise of powers conferred under clause (89) of Section 2 of the Code on Social Security, 2020.
