Congress, allies frustrated by defeats, have crossed all limits, says Rekha Gupta over Kharge’s remarks on PM

New Delhi, Oct 26 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday hit out at the Congress party and its allies, alleging that they have crossed all the boundaries of morals and dignified behavior out of frustration because of being rejected by the public.
The response came in wake of the recent objectionable remarks made by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, that have sparked a controversy.
Gupta while speaking to reporters on Monday on the sideslines of an event said that the way the public has rejected the opposition, has caused frustration, and their desperation shows on their faces as well as on their tongues.
Sharpening her attack, she said that sometimes they hurl abuses at the PM, and sometimes they utter vile words even about his late parents.
Gupta said that the public loves the Prime Minister, and questioned as to how will the opposition remove him from the hearts of crores of countrymen by resorting to foul language.
“The public has rejected you before as well. Now, brace yourselves for an even more crushing and decisive defeat next time,” she warned.
Recently, at a public event in Patna, the Congress chief Kharge had targeted PM Modi, by making alleged objectionable remarks.
The remarks by the Congress chief have drawn criticism from across the BJP, its leaders and supporters.
