Disha Salian case: Aaditya Thackeray’s lawyer accepts Rs 500-crore legal notice at ‘Matoshree’

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena MLA Aaditya Thackeray’s lawyer accepted the Rs 500-Crore legal defamation notice which was hand delivered by Disha Salian’s father Satish Salian and his lawyer Nilesh Ojha at the doorsteps of the Bandra East Thackeray residence ‘Matoshree’ at 4.30 on Saturday evening.
Aaditya Thackeray’s lawyer also signed on a legal document that the legal notice sent by Satish Salian has been received and accepted, outside ‘Matoshree’, whose gates remained closed.
Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena workers tried to stop Satish Salian and his lawyer, raising a ruckus, but a heavy police presence in the area deterred any untoward incidents.
Interacting with media persons outside ‘Matoshree’, Disha Salian’s father Satish Salian said, “Even if it is late, the CBI has registered a case and started the investigation.
"The Mumbai police fabricated everything and tried to suppress this case. The police did all this on the instructions of the leaders of the government which was then in power. However, we expect justice this time”.
“We have nothing to do with any politics. Now that the legal notice has been served, let them answer it. Nobody could do anything to us,” Satish Salian told media persons outside ‘Matoshree’.
Satish Salian’s lawyer Nilesh Ojha said, “They were threatening us, saying you try to come and deliver the legal notice. So we came ourselves to Matoshree to show that we can serve a legal notice right at your home. Call as many goons as you want, let’s see what you do. Otherwise we could have sent the legal notice through the court as well”.
“Now there will be an investigation as per the directions of the High Court. We have given everything in the Supreme Court as well. So we are confident that now we will get justice,” Satiah Salian’s lawyer Nilesh Ojha said.
“A Narcotics Control Bureau report states that Aaditya Thackeray is involved in the narcotic drug business. There are CCTV footages, eyewitness testimonies besides allegations of rape and murder against him. We are stating all this openly. If all this is false, there are enough legal provisions,” Satiah Salian’s lawyer Nilesh Ojha said.
