Four appointed as Executive Directors of MSEDCL

Pune, Sep 17 (UNI) Ankur Kawale, Sandeep Patil, Chandramani Mishra and Sunil Kakade have taken charge as Executive Directors of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) following their selection through the deputation-based recruitment process.
Kawale, who previously served as Chief Engineer (Distribution) at MSEDCL headquarters in Mumbai, joined the erstwhile Maharashtra State Electricity Board as an Assistant Engineer in 1997 and has served in various capacities in Nashik, Ahilyanagar, Pune and Kolhapur.
Patil joined as an Assistant Engineer in 2003 and subsequently served as Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer and Chief Engineer. Before his appointment, he was Chief Engineer (Power Purchase) at the MSEDCL headquarters.
Mishra joined MSEDCL as an Assistant Engineer in 2003 and held various positions in Alibag, Vashi, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Mumbai. He was earlier serving as Chief Engineer of the Kalyan Circle.
Kakade joined as an Assistant Engineer in 1997 and served at Chalisgaon, Nashik, Bhusawal, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Kalyan, Ahilyanagar and Bhandup. He was Chief Engineer of the Pune Circle since 2025 before taking charge as Executive Director, said a release today.
MSEDCL, also known as Mahavitaran, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Government of Maharashtra. It is the largest electricity distribution utility in India and the second-largest in the world, distributing electricity to over 2.5 crore consumers across almost the entire state of Maharashtra.
