Fresh electoral rolls ordered for two Telangana Council Graduates’ constituencies

Hyderabad, Sep 17 (UNI) The Election Commission of India has ordered de- novo preparation of electoral rolls for the Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad and Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates’ constituencies of the Telangana Legislative Council, ahead of regular vacancies due in March 2027.
The fresh rolls will be prepared with November 1, 2026 as the qualifying date. The process will begin with the issue of public notice on September 28, while the final publication of the electoral rolls is scheduled for December 30, 2026.
The Chief Electoral Officer C Sudharsan Reddy said all existing graduate electors must submit fresh applications in the modified Form-18, along with authenticated copies of the required certificates/documents, as the existing electoral roll entries will not be considered for determining eligibility.
Applications can be submitted online through the CEO Telangana website or in person/by post to the concerned Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant EROs and designated officers, an official statement from the CEO’s office said on Thursday.
