Varanasi, Oct 4 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Metropolitan President Pradeep Agrahari, announced here on Sunday that a grand welcome would be given to the Seva Sankalp Yatra pilgrims arriving in Kashi from Vadnagar on October 7.
He stated that approximately 500 Seva Yatra pilgrims, traveling through 10 states, will arrive in Kashi from Vadnagar. Along with the party's National President Nitin Navin, State President Pankaj Chaudhary, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present in Kashi to welcome the pilgrims.
Agrahari urged all Mandal presidents to ensure that at least 1,000 workers from their respective Mandals should reach at the public meeting venue. Buses and other resources will be arranged from pre-determined locations to transport the workers to the venue.
The Metropolitan President stated that the arrival of Seva Sankalp Yatra pilgrims to Kashi will begin on October 6. Bikers will receive a grand welcome befitting the dignity of Kashi. Welcome points are being established in all assembly constituencies, where public representatives and workers will greet them with flower showers and drum beats.
He stated that on the morning of October 7, all bikers will gather at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University campus. Here, Mahila Morcha workers will welcome them with a tilak (a mark of the forehead), a bouquet of flowers, and a shawl. The pilgrims will then arrive at Maidagin Square by bus and, from there, proceed on foot to Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
On their way to Kashi Vishwanath Dham, 51 women will walk ahead of the Seva Yatra pilgrims, carrying Kalash (pots of water) on their heads. Metropolitan General Secretary Pooja Dixit has been entrusted with this responsibility. After offering water to Baba Vishwanath, the pilgrims will travel by bus from Maidagin to Gokuldham in Rohaniya. They will then attend the public meeting of BJP National President Nitin Navin, held at Jagatpur Inter College. UNI MBD SAS
