Haryana: Offerings worth Rs 25.10 lakh received at 3 temples on 1st day of Navratri fair

Panchkula, Oct 11 (UNI) Devotees donated Rs 25.10 lakh at three prominent temples in Haryana on the first day of the Ashwin Navratri fair today, with the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple in Panchkula accounting for the bulk of the offerings.
According to official figures, a total of 62,200 devotees visited the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple, Shri Kali Mata Temple in Kalka and Chandi Mata Temple on the opening day of the fair.
Of these, 47,000 devotees visited the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple, 12,000 visited the Shri Kali Mata Temple in Kalka and 3,200 offered prayers at the Chandi Mata Temple.
Satpal Sharma, Deputy Commissioner and Chief Administrator of the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, said the three temples received donations of Rs 20,43,374, Rs 2,38,241 and Rs 2,28,470, respectively.
Besides cash donations, devotees also offered four silver items at the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple. UNI KK SS
