Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair, which began in Chennai, reaches Kanpur

Kanpur, Oct 3 (UNI) The Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair (HSSF), an initiative that began in Chennai in 2009 to bring the service activities of Hindu spiritual and religious organisations onto a common platform, is set to be held in Kanpur from November 26 to 30 at Brijendra Swarup Park.
The fair was first organised in Chennai with the objective of showcasing the social-service initiatives undertaken by Hindu spiritual organisations and bringing them before the wider public. Around 40 organisations participated in the inaugural edition.
Over the years, the initiative expanded, with successive editions highlighting activities related to education, healthcare, environmental protection, animal and bird welfare, women’s empowerment, culture, values and assistance to the needy.
