Hyd: India Post opens delivery centre at Sanathnagar IE

Hyderabad, June 30 (UNI) Ms NR Visalatchy, Postmaster General, Headquarters Region, along with Ms Rippan Dullet, DPS (Hqtrs), inaugurated the Delivery Centre at Sanathnagar Industrial Estate Area here today.
The Delivery Centre (DC) was inaugurated to meet the growing delivery needs of the public by centralizing and streamlining mail operations.
By consolidating operations under one roof, the Delivery Centre enhances service quality, operational efficiency, and accountability.
It enables better supervision, standardized procedures, and real-time performance monitoring — reflecting India Post’s commitment to modern, customer-centric postal services in Hyderabad.
This initiative effectively addresses the issue of missents, leading to improved service accuracy and higher customer satisfaction.
The new Delivery Centre has been established by combining the delivery operations of five areas -- S.R. Nagar PO 38, Yousufguda PO 45, Srinagar Colony PO 73, Motinagar PO 114, and SNIE PO 18.
This consolidation ensures unified delivery management and strengthens resource utilization across the region.
The centralized structure of the Delivery Centre enables the Department to implement customer-friendly delivery features such as Sunday/Holiday delivery, early morning or evening delivery, and even second delivery of mail – all of which aim to improve customer convenience.
In addition to strengthening delivery operations, the Delivery Centre also offers essential citizen-centric financial services through the Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS). This facility allows customers to access basic banking services — such as cash withdrawals and balance inquiries — directly at their doorstep. This integration not only enhances service delivery but also supports the Government’s financial inclusion goals.
