The fair, held with 225 stalls at the HMDA grounds, attracted 5,98,029 visitors who purchased products ranging from food items and handloom textiles to handicrafts and traditional goods. Sales crossed Rs 1 crore a day during the final four days.

The Rural Development Department provided accommodation, meals and transport for participating women, besides arranging air conditioning, parking and security for visitors.
Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka expressed happiness over the record sales and commended women’s self-help group members, Rural Development Department officials and SERP staff for their efforts.
