Jammu, Oct 21 (UNI) Asserting that the security arrangements along the International Border, the Line of Control (LoC) and the hinterland would be reinforced, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone, Tejinder Singh said operations against the remaining terrorists, their support networks, narco-terrorism and drug trafficking will be intensified.
“Our efforts will be focusing and targeting the terror ecosystem and neutralizing the remaining terrorists in the days to come,” the IGP said while speaking to reporters at the sidelines of the Police Commemoration Day event on Wednesday.
Singh said that security arrangements would be reinforced along the International Border, the Line of Control (LoC) and the hinterland to maintain peace and stability in the union Territory.

IGP Singh further stated that action will also be intensified against narcotics networks with continued attachment of properties and recovery of assets linked to drug trafficking.
He expressed that gangster networks and organized criminal groups are also being monitored and said, “J&K Police and BSF in close coordination had created multi-layer security inside border areas to counter drone-dropping incidents.”
