Jaipur Mayor represents India at BRICS Plus meet

Jaipur, May 28 (UNI) Dr Soumya Gurjar, Mayor of Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation, represented India at the general assembly of BRICS Plus Association of Cities and Municipalities held in Brazil.
On Tuesday, Dr Gurjar showcased Jaipur's cultural heritage, smart urban initiatives, and the spirit of a developing India on the global platform.

She also signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Igor V. Arsentyev, the Head of the City of Severodvinsk, Russian Federation, to strengthen cooperation and friendly relations between the two cities.
The LoI aims to enhance collaboration in various areas of mutual interest and maintain continuous dialogue and coordination.

During her address, Dr Gurjar highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India, emphasizing the country's rapid progress towards development, innovation, and sustainability.
She urged the BRICS countries and the international community to strongly condemn terrorism and advise Pakistan to focus on the country's development.
