Kakinada JC inspects arrangements for Nara Lokesh visit to ‘Bharatiyam’

Kakinada, Sept 19 (UNI) Kakinada district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the visit of Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh to the city on Sunday to attend the ‘Bharatiyam’ special programme as chief guest.
The programme is being organised by Advisor to the Government on Moral Values and noted preacher Chaganti Koteswara Rao at his Akundi Lakshmi Memorial Gosala at Thimmapuram on the outskirts of Kakinada.
Joint Collector Apurva Bharat, along with Kakinada RDO Sripada Mallibabu, Joint Education Director Nagamani and District Education Officer Ramesh Babu, inspected the venue on Saturday evening and reviewed arrangements with officials.
Earlier, Superintendent of Police and other police officials had inspected security arrangements at the venue.
As part of the programme, Chaganti Koteswara Rao will deliver a lecture on moral values and the greatness of the country to students from various schools and colleges. Lokesh will attend as chief guest and deliver the keynote address.
Rural MLA Pantham Nanaji is mobilising Jana Sena Party workers to accord a reception to Lokesh during his visit.
Meanwhile, media personnel have reportedly been barred from attending the programme citing accommodation constraints. Information Department officials, however, assured the media that the press release, live links and photographs would be provided promptly.
