Saraswati Pushkarma, May 19 (UNI) Kaleshwaram is witnessing a spiritual spectacle reminiscent of the Kumbh Mela, as thousands of devotees continue to pour in for the sacred Saraswati Pushkaram located in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
From the early hours of Monday morning, devotees have been arriving in large numbers to take holy dips in the river, seeking blessings during the auspicious Pushkaram period.
With rising temperatures, many pilgrims are choosing to arrive early in the day to perform the Pushkara snanam (bath) before the sun intensifies. Every corner of Kaleshwaram — from the main ghats and bathing zones to the temple surroundings — is teeming with spiritual fervour and devotional chants.
The Pushkara baths are being conducted smoothly, thanks to the meticulous arrangements made by the district administration.
District Collector Rahul Sharma has been on the ground since morning, inspecting the facilities and ensuring cleanliness and order at Saraswati Ghat.
He has been actively coordinating with officials via walkie-talkies, issuing real-time instructions to maintain the flow of the event and ensure the comfort of the pilgrims.
Authorities continue to manage crowd control, sanitation, and medical services, creating a safe and serene atmosphere for devotees participating in the sacred event.
