Kerala Health Minister invited to attend Victorian Parliament session

Thiruvananthapurm, June 15 (UNI) Kerala Health Minister Veena George has been invited to attend the Victorian Parliament session in Australia.

She has been invited as a special guest to attend and receive the honour of the Parliament.

The invitation has been extended as a recognition of the collaboration in the health sector between Kerala and Victoria, a release said.

The Minister will attend the Victorian Parliament session scheduled for June 19. Such an opportunity is rare for ministers from Indian states.

Over this period, several initiatives have been undertaken to strengthen the cooperation between Kerala and Victoria. During the visit, Minister Veena George will hold discussions with the Health Minister and the Minister for Women and Child Welfare of Victoria.
