Kumaraswamy predicts Congress will remove Shivakumar as Karnataka CM

Bengaluru, Oct 13 (UNI) union Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday took a swipe at Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar over the latter's alleged pulling back by security personnel during the INDIA bloc's protest march in New Delhi, predicting that the Congress would eventually remove him from the Chief Minister's post.
"It is just the beginning; Congress will eventually push him out from the CM post," Kumaraswamy said while addressing the media.
He further remarked that the day was not far when even Shivakumar's chair would be pulled away, suggesting that the incident during Monday's protest was indicative of the political challenges facing the Karnataka Chief Minister.
Kumaraswamy said he was raising the issue with pain and declined to comment further on the incident involving Shivakumar during the INDIA bloc march against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
The incident has triggered political reactions, with the union Minister using it to target the Congress leadership and question Shivakumar's position within the party.
Shivakumar, who is the Karnataka Chief Minister, participated in the INDIA bloc protest in Delhi against the Chief Election Commissioner.
