Kolkata, June 8 (UNI) The Life Insurance Corporation of India on Sunday announced that company managing director Sat Pal Bhanoo has been entrusted with the financial and administrative powers and functions of the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director with immediate effect.

" As per the letter from the Ministry of Finance dated June 7, Sat Pal Bhanoo, MD LIC of India, has been been entrusted with the financial and administrative powers and functions of the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) for a period of three months with effect from June 8, 2025, up to September 07, 2025, or till assumption of charge of the post by the regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest," the LIC said in a statement.
