LJP (RV) to observe founder Ram Vilas Paswan’s 6th death anniversary in Lucknow on Oct 8

Lucknow, Oct 5 (UNI) Preparing to contest the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections as part of the NDA, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will organise a major programme here on October 8 to mark the sixth death anniversary of its founder Ram Vilas Paswan.

Party's national chief and union minister Chirag Paswan will be present on the occasion along with leaders of other political parties, who were close to Ram Vilas Paswan during his political journey.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the party's Uttar Pradesh in-charge and Jamui MP, Arun Bharti, stated that the sixth death anniversary of the party's founder and former union Minister, the late Ram Vilas Paswan, will be reverently observed this year in Lucknow by the Uttar Pradesh organization unit.

Mr Bharti stated that all prominent leaders from the ruling party and opposition parties who worked with the late Ram Vilas Paswan in political and social life are being invited to the death anniversary function. Additionally, people who were associated with him in various fields are also being invited to the event.
He said that the party's national president and union Minister, Chirag Paswan, will attend the tribute ceremony with his entire family.
Responding to questions from reporters, Mr Bharti stated that the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is continuously working to strengthen its organization in Uttar Pradesh. The party's objective is to connect all sections of society with the organization and strongly raise issues of public interest.
He stated that in this regard, the party will organize programmes like "Youth Bole To" in more districts across Uttar Pradesh, through which dialogue will be established regarding youth's problems, their suggestions, and future-related issues. Furthermore, through programmes like "Chanakya Chaupal," "Dalit Chaupal," and "Sab Sankalp," the party will further strengthen its organization by reaching out to the public.

Mr Bharti stated that the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is fully committed to carrying forward the ideals of the late Ram Vilas Paswan, the fight for social justice, and the rights of the underprivileged.

He also reiterated that the party is fully prepared to contest the assembly polls in UP under the umbrella of the NDA.
