Maha: Man shoots his wife, commits suicide in Mumbai

Mumbai, June 8 (UNI) A 60-year-old man allegedly shot his wife dead and then turned the gun on himself to take his own life in Worli area of south-central Mumbai, police said here on Sunday.
The tragic event is suspected to have stemmed from a domestic dispute, police said.
According to preliminary information, residents of the area alerted authorities after hearing an argument followed by gunshots.
The Worli Police reached the spot immediately and recovered the firearm used in the incident.
The weapon has been seized, and an investigation is underway to determine how the accused obtained it.
Police have sent both bodies for postmortem and are further probing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
