Minister Seethakka slams KTR for propaganda, defends Cong policies

Hyderabad, May 24 (UNI) Telangana Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Women & Child Welfare Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka) launched a scathing attack on BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR), accusing him of leading a campaign rooted in falsehoods and political theatrics.
Speaking to the media at the secretariat on Saturday, Seethakka alleged that KTR had “surpassed Goebbels in propaganda” and ridiculed his recent remarks against the Congress and its leadership.
Taking on KTR’s criticism of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Congress, Seethakka quipped, “There is no one better than you at spreading falsehoods globally.”
Defending the Congress government in the National Herald case, she pointed out that the case against Revanth Reddy was filed when he was the PCC president, not after he became Chief Minister. “While KTR talks endlessly about the ED, Prime Minister Modi only offers praise. So, who is actually running the real agenda here?” she questioned.
Seethakka also posed pointed questions to KTR: “Wasn’t the BRS in power when the Kaleshwaram project collapsed? Has Kaleshwaram turned into Kuleshwaram? Where is the money that was looted in the name of pink labourers?” She also criticised the BJP’s silence, accusing Modi of following “Trump-style war politics.”
Urging KTR to “stop making baseless accusations against Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy,” Seethakka accused him of abandoning the role of a constructive opposition and attempting to “make a lie seem like truth through repetition.”
She defended the Congress’s support to a newspaper that “fought for freedom,” and questioned whether helping such an institution should be seen as a wrongdoing.
