Nashik: Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Revenue Lok Adalat gets strong response

Nashik, Oct 5 (UNI) The Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Revenue Lok Adalat received an enthusiastic response from litigants in Nashik, with several pending revenue cases being settled through mutual consent between the parties.
The Lok Adalat was held at the Additional Collector’s Office in Nashik on Sunday in the presence of Additional Collector Hemangi Patil as part of the campaign being implemented across Maharashtra under a government resolution of the Revenue and Forest Department.
The Lok Adalat was organised to address pending quasi-judicial revenue cases related to Nashik Rural, Nashik City, Igatpuri and Trimbakeshwar talukas under the jurisdiction of the Additional Collector.
A large number of parties involved in various pending revenue cases attended the proceedings. Officials focused on facilitating dialogue and mutual understanding between the parties and encouraged them to voluntarily resolve their disputes through compromise.
As a result, several pending cases were successfully settled through mutual agreement.
The campaign aims to ensure the speedy and convenient disposal of pending quasi-judicial cases in the Revenue Department through compromise.
The Lok Adalat is also expected to save citizens’ time, effort and expenses while providing an effective platform to resolve revenue disputes through dialogue, consensus and mutual consent.
The Revenue Lok Adalat is being seen as an effective mechanism for resolving pending revenue disputes through communication, mutual understanding and the consent of the parties.
Further steps will be taken in the next phase of the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Revenue Lok Adalat campaign to settle more pending revenue cases through mutual agreement.
