Ramabhau Joshi remembered as selfless and humble journalist

Pune, Oct 5 ( UNI) Veteran journalist Ramabhau Joshi was remembered as a selfless and humble journalist who remained committed to journalism for nearly seven decades, speakers said at a function held here on Monday.
The biography “Ramabhau Joshi – Jeevan Pravas”, authored by his brother Anil Joshi, was released at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) here by its founder president Prof Dr Vishwanath D Karad.
Speaking at the function, Dr Karad said Joshi’s long journalistic career was marked by dedication, knowledge and integrity. He described him as a journalist, organiser, writer and a keen observer of theatre and music who was also active in social and educational fields.
Veteran Gandhian thinker Dr Ulhasdada Pawar said Joshi witnessed several changes in the social, cultural and political spheres during his long career, but continued to express his views independently and fearlessly.
Author Anil Joshi said he considered it a privilege to have Ramabhau Joshi as his brother and to document his life and work. UNI SP CDS
