Naxals kill two on suspicion of being informers

Bijapur, Jun 22 (UNI) Two people, including a former Naxalite, were allegedly killed by Naxalites in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh last night on suspicion of being informers.
The incident occurred in Yampuri Sandra Bor village under the jurisdiction of Pamed police station.

The deceased were identified as former Maoist Weko Dewa and a villager named Samaiya.

Bijapur Superintendent of Police Dr Jitendra Yadav confirmed that they have received information about the incident and a team has been dispatched to the spot. Verification and confirmation of the details are underway.
