Odisha CM launches 46 industrial projects worth Rs 39,383 crore across 14 districts

Bhubaneswar, Oct 14 (UNI) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 46 medium and large industrial projects involving investments of Rs 39,383 crore across 14 districts, stepping up the state’s industrial expansion and employment generation drive.
The projects were launched at a major industrial event at Kalinganagar in Jajpur district, which Majhi described as a milestone in Odisha’s journey towards a second industrial revolution.
Taking a swipe at the previous BJD government, Majhi said industrial investment had largely remained a slogan and a publicity exercise before his government assumed office. His government, he asserted, was translating memoranda of understanding (MoUs) into ground-level projects by establishing factories, starting production and creating jobs for Odia youths.
