CM Majhi pitches Odisha as investment hub at UAE business meet

Bhubaneswar, Sep 9 (UNI) Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday pitched Odisha’s industrial and export potential to the UAE business community, seeking stronger trade, investment and business partnerships between the state and the Gulf nation.
During a roundtable with the Indian Business & Professional Group (IBPG) as part of the Odisha Investors’ Meet in Abu Dhabi, Majhi and senior officials discussed expanding the exchange of goods, exports and trade between Odisha and the UAE.
The interaction highlighted investment and export opportunities in turmeric, ginger, seafood and food processing, besides contract manufacturing for leading UAE brands. The meeting also explored avenues for deploying highly skilled professionals from Odisha in the UAE.
