Sudhanshu Trivedi calls Rahul Gandhi threat to India’s democratic system

Bhubaneswar, Nov 2 (UNI) BJP Rajya Sabha MP and national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi on Monday accused Rahul Gandhi of posing a threat to India's democratic system, alleging that the Congress leader was attempting to undermine constitutional institutions and create suspicion about bodies such as the Election Commission, the Reserve Bank of India and the Life Insurance Corporation.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters here, Trivedi alleged that the Congress and some external forces were opposed to India's progress and its ambition of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
He said India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, was making rapid strides in economic growth, social progress and public welfare, while several developed countries faced economic distress and political instability.
