BJP accuses Rahul Gandhi of undermining constitutional institutions at behest of foreign divisive forces

Bhubaneswar, Nov 2 (UNI) BJP national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi on Monday accused Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi of attempting to undermine India's constitutional institutions at the behest of foreign divisive forces, alleging that the Congress was systematically creating doubts about the country's democratic framework.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters here, Trivedi alleged that since 2012, Rahul Gandhi and the Congress had repeatedly questioned the credibility of constitutional institutions and major public sector financial organisations, including the State Bank of India (SBI) and the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).
He accused the Congress and some Opposition parties of attempting to discredit institutions such as the Election Commission of India (ECI), question the credibility of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and cast doubts on the functioning of the Supreme Court, thereby weakening public confidence in the country's democratic institutions.
