Delhi Assembly Speaker meets Vice-Governor of São Paulo, discusses electoral practices, governance & scope for state-level cooperation

New Delhi, Sept 22 (UNI) The Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Vijender Gupta, held a cordial and fruitful meeting with Felício Ramuth, Vice-Governor of São Paulo State, during his study tour there as part of his engagements associated with the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC).
The meeting provided an opportunity for an exchange of views on democratic institutions, governance practices and areas of mutual interest between India and Brazil.
During the interaction, Gupta and Felício Ramuth discussed electoral practices and the functioning of democratic institutions in India and Brazil.
