343 missing people reunited in Haryana's Panchkula

Panchkula, Sep 21 (UNI) Showcasing a remarkable blend of teamwork and empathy, Panchkula Police have brought 343 missing and separated individuals back to their families between January 1 and September 20 this year. Among them were 117 children under 18. The search spanned four states and used every tool available, from advanced cyber tracking to tireless beat patrolling on the ground.
Behind these numbers lies a tapestry of silent hope and relentless search: of the 343 reunited, 263 were females or girls and 80 were males or boys, their ages stretching from a six-month-old baby to an 81-year-old elder. For every one of them, a family’s long-held worry melted away as a loved one finally returned home.
"This is not just a police action. For us, tracing a missing person is an effort to bring happiness back to a family," said Commissioner of Police Pankaj Nain, capturing the emotional core of what has become one of Panchkula Police's most people-centric operations this year.
