Jammu Firing Case: Police arrests two absconding shooters

Jammu, Jun 24 (UNI) Jammu Police have arrested two more accused persons wanted in Gangyal firing case of June 6.
The spokesman here on Tuesday said that in continuation to the ongoing investigation into the Gangyal firing incident Police have apprehended the remaining two main accused, who were evading arrest.
In the incident of June 6 at Gangyal Chowk, the two main accused who opened fire, resulting in gunshot injuries in the right arm of one person namely Paramjeet Singh of Seora were nabbed by a team.

Patwari suspended in Bharatmala land scam found hanging, Congress demands CBI probe

Raipur, June 28 (UNI) Suresh Kumar Mishra, a 62-year-old patwari suspended in connection with an alleged land compensation scam under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, was found dead this afternoon at a farmhouse in Joki village under Sakri police jurisdiction. He was due to retire on June 30.
