HPBOSE Chairman Begins School Visits to Assess Ground Realities, Interacts with Teachers and Students

Dharamshala, Oct 13 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Chairman Dr Rajesh Sharma has begun visiting schools to assess academic activities and understand ground-level challenges through direct interaction with teachers and students.
The series of visits for October began with Dayanand Model Senior Secondary School, where Dr Sharma interacted with teachers and students to explore ways to improve the quality of education.
During the visit, he discussed teaching practices, students’ academic progress and challenges faced by the education sector. He also listened to teachers’ experiences and suggestions, emphasising their crucial role in the overall development of students.
Students also raised questions and shared their queries with the chairman, who responded warmly and encouraged them to pursue their goals with hard work, discipline and self-confidence.
Dr Sharma said the objective of the visits was to understand educational needs at the grassroots level and obtain direct feedback from teachers and students.
“Quality education is the foundation of the state’s progress and a brighter future,” he said, stressing the need for collective efforts to provide students with a better learning environment and proper guidance.
He said teachers played a vital role in nation-building, while students represented the future of the state. Regular interaction with educational institutions would help strengthen the education system and provide better opportunities to students, he added.
Dr Sharma expressed confidence that the initiative would contribute to improving educational standards across Himachal Pradesh. UNI AR CDS
