Amit Shah to attend Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha in Gurugram on Oct 7

Gurugram, Oct 5 (UNI) union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha in Gurugram on October 7, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the gathering virtually, the BJP said on Monday.
The event, to be held at Maharana Pratap Park in Leisure Valley, is being organised to mark Modi's completion of 25 years in public office. The Prime Minister is scheduled to address the gathering at 10 a.m. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, BJP national general secretary and newly appointed state in-charge Smriti Irani, Haryana co-incharge Bhola Singh and state BJP president Archana Gupta will also attend.
The BJP reviewed preparations for the event at a meeting at its Gurukamal office in Gurugram on Monday. union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh, state general secretary (organisation) Pawan Rana and BJP Parliamentary Board member Sudha Yadav were among those present.
Gupta said the event was aimed at taking Modi's Viksit Bharat-2047 vision to the grassroots through public participation. "Viksit Bharat-2047 is not merely a goal of the government, but a collective resolve of every citizen," Gupta told reporters after the meeting. She said citizens could contribute to nation-building through initiatives related to cleanliness, health, education, environmental protection and social welfare.
The BJP expects a large turnout at the event and has asked its workers to take the Viksit Bharat-2047 campaign to the grassroots. Gupta said the programme would also mark Smriti Irani's first visit to Haryana after her appointment as the BJP's state in-charge. UNI KK CDS
