Inflation due to wrong policies, profiteering by BJP: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, Oct 13 (UNI) Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav today alleged that due to the BJP government's wrong policies and profiteering, inflation has broken all records.
"Inflation has reached its peak. Food prices are continuously rising and the BJP government has completely failed to control inflation. The public is suffering under the impact of inflation. The prices of diesel, petrol, and cooking gas are already skyrocketing," he said.
Yadav said in a statement during the festival season, the prices of all food items—oil, pulses, vegetables, milk, ghee, sugar, as well as clothes, shoes, and household items—are skyrocketing. Inflation is caused by profiteering and black marketing. The common people and the poor are facing a crisis in their livelihoods.
He said that data from various government departments show that inflation has broken all records, but the BJP is unconcerned.
"The BJP receives a share of the loot caused by inflation in the form of donations. This loot from the public increases every year. Inflation has made the festivals dull. The BJP government has failed. The common people are helpless. Capitalists and big businessmen supporting the BJP are looting the public," he alleged.
Yadav said that as long as the BJP government remains in power, inflation will keep increasing. The public will keep getting looted.
"The people, troubled by inflation and unemployment, have decided to remove the BJP government from power. In 2027, the Samajwadi Party government is going to be formed, then the Samajwadi government will put a stop to inflation. The public will be given relief in every way. In the Samajwadi government, inflation will be controlled by implementing the price control policy, following the principles of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia," he said.
