Telangana Govt targets zero poverty by 2030, developed economy by 2033: DY CM

Hyderabad, Sep 24 (UNI) The Telangana government has set an ambitious development roadmap to transform the State into a ‘Zero Poverty’ state by 2030 and achieve the country’s most advanced economy by 2033, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said.
At a high-level meeting chaired by Mr Bhatti at his camp office here on Thursday, senior officials reviewed measures to accelerate economic and social development, strengthen planning and implementation mechanisms, improve inter-departmental coordination and establish systems for continuous monitoring of development outcomes.
Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary and Vice Chairman of GFST S.P. Tucker, along with GFST representatives, Finance and Planning department officials and other senior officers, participated in the discussions.
