Telangana to bring schools, welfare hostels under Unified Monitoring System within a fortnight

Hyderabad, Sep 28 (UNI) The Telangana government plans to bring educational institutions and residential welfare schools across the State under a Unified Hostel Welfare Management System within the next fortnight to strengthen monitoring of attendance, infrastructure, food quality and student welfare.
Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju announced the initiative during a video conference with District Collectors on Monday, directing them to ensure comprehensive monitoring of primary schools and residential welfare institutions through the proposed system.
The system will track teacher and student attendance, infrastructure and facilities, food quality and availability, dietary arrangements, sanitation, hygiene, maintenance of premises and other student welfare measures.
