BJP Tribal Morcha stages protest demanding release of Rs 1,600 crore pending tribal subsidies

Hyderabad, May 27 (UNI) BJP workers and affected beneficiaries, under the leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party Tribal Morcha State President Dr Kalyan Nayak, staged a massive protest on Tuesday by besieging the Industries Commissioner's office in Hyderabad.
The protest was held to demand the immediate release of pending tribal subsidies amounting to Rs 1,600 crore across Telangana.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Kalyan Nayak alleged that the tribal subsidy dues have been pending for over six years. He criticised officials for delaying disbursement by repeatedly issuing cheques without actual clearance, a situation he claimed has led to distress and even suicides among tribal beneficiaries.
