BRS leader held in attack on TV news channel office

Hyderabad, June 29 (UNI) The Jubilee Hills police have arrested Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader G Srinivas Yadav in connection with the alleged attack on the office of a vernacular news channel in Jubilee Hills area of the city.
On Saturday afternoon, BRS Vidyarthi activists allegedly vandalised the news channel office, protesting against a telecast that linked some BRS leaders to a phone tapping case.
A case was registered at Jubilee Hills police station against the people who vandalised the office.
Later, at night, police arrested G Srinivas from Telangana Bhavan for his alleged role in leading the protest.
The BRS party workers condemned his arrest.

Shivakumar, revealed that the Congress high command is fully aware of the evolving political dynamics in the state and will take a suitable decision at the "right time."
Addressing the media in Ramanagara, Hussain remarked, “Those who toiled for the Congress victory in 2023 are known to everyone. The leadership understands this.” His comments have been widely interpreted as an endorsement for a leadership change that could see Shivakumar succeed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the coming months.
