P Srihari appointed Director of DRDO’s Research Centre Imarat

Hyderabad, Sep 15 (UNI) Dr P Srihari, Outstanding Scientist, has been appointed Director of the Research Centre Imarat (RCI), DRDO, Hyderabad, and assumed charge on Tuesday.
Dr Srihari completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Nagarjuna University in 1990, Master of Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, and Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
He joined DRDO as Scientist ‘B’ at LRDE, Bengaluru, in October 1992 and has contributed to several major defence programmes, including the Multi-Mode Radar for the LCA, Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD), Anti-Satellite (ASAT) and Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) programmes.
