Global Grace Cancer Run 2026 to be held in Hyderabad on Oct 11

Hyderabad, Sept 15 (UNI) Registration has opened for the ninth edition of the Quambiant Global Grace Cancer Run 2026, powered by Evernorth Health Services, to be held at Gachibowli Stadium here on October 11.
The run is being organised by the Grace Cancer Foundation to create awareness about cancer, encourage early detection and screening, and support cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.
Participants can register in three categories — 2K, 5K and 10K. The registration fee is Rs 800 for the 2K run, Rs 900 for the 5K and Rs 1,200 for the 10K, the Foundation said in a release here on Tuesday.
The 10K will be a timed run, while the 2K and 5K categories are open to families and other participants.
The event is being held in association with Southern California Security Council, AMCHAM India, HYSEA and EquippP. LPL Financial Global Capability Center is the Global Social Impact Partner and Global Grace Health is the Global Partner.
The organisers said the Hyderabad edition is expected to attract around 35,000 participants, while the global event is expected to draw more than one lakh participants from over 130 countries.
The theme of this year's run is “Run for Grace. Screen for Life.”
Grace Cancer Foundation Founder Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli said the event seeks to combine cancer awareness, prevention and early detection and encourage people to make screening part of regular healthcare.
He said the Foundation was planning to list on the Social Stock Exchange (SSE) as part of its efforts to strengthen governance, compliance and transparency.
The Foundation's proposed expansion plans include setting up a Centre of Excellence for Preventive Oncology, deploying AI-enabled mobile cancer screening units, expanding cancer and non-communicable disease screening across India, developing digital health platforms for underserved communities and strengthening research collaborations.
The organisers said the Global Grace Cancer Run has reached nearly 1.4 crore people across more than 130 countries since its inception.
The Foundation works in the areas of cancer education and awareness, early detection, treatment and rehabilitation, and research.
