12 injured in chemical factory explosion in Telangana

Hyderabad, June 30 (UNI) About twelve people were injured, some of them seriously, following a powerful explosion in a chemical factory in the early hours of Monday at the Pashamilaram industrial area in Sangareddy district.



The explosion occurred at the Sigachi chemical industry, triggering a massive fire that engulfed parts of the facility. Upon receiving information, two fire engines rushed to the spot and are currently working to bring the blaze under control.



The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.



Officials are yet to ascertain the exact cause of the explosion, and further details are awaited.
