Ashok Bhowmick’s five-decade artistic journey showcased in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Oct 7 (UNI) Artisera, in collaboration with Delhi-based Dhoomimal Gallery, is currently showcasing senior Indian artist Ashok Bhowmick’s first solo exhibition in Bengaluru, bringing together works spanning more than five decades of his artistic practice.
Titled “Intersections”, the exhibition, which began on September 26, will continue until November 5 at Artisera in Indiranagar.
The exhibition features Bhowmick’s paintings, drawings and sculptures and brings together recurring themes from his long artistic career, including workers, coal miners, birds, animals and the recurring figure of ‘Amina’.
