UPA failed to resolve Mullaperiyar issue, says BJP

Kochi, May 24 (UNI) During the 10 years of Congress-led UPA rule from 2004 to 2014, the INDI alliance partners who were part of the UPA failed to resolve the Mullaperiyar issue, Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar has said.
"Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is part of the INDI Alliance, alongside Pinarayi Vijayan and Rahul Gandhi. Yet, despite being partners, why have they failed to resolve the Mullaperiyar issue?" the BJP leader asked.
What has the state government done for our farmers in the hill districts? In 2023, the central government amended the Forest Conservation Act to address human-wildlife conflict. So why hasn’t the LDF government implemented these changes?
