Telangana: Congress Govt betrayed farmers by allowing crops to wither: BJP Chief Ramchander Rao

Nalgonda, Sep 30 (UNI) Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao accused the Congress government of failing farmers and alleged that paddy crops had withered due to inadequate support and problems faced by cultivators.
Ramchander Rao made the allegations during his tour of Nalgonda district on Wednesday, where he interacted directly with farmers to understand their problems and assess crop losses. He said the BJP delegation was visiting villages to hear farmers' concerns at the grassroots level and assured them that the party would stand by those facing difficulties.
The BJP state president visited Chinna Madaram village in Kanagal mandal and interacted with farmers about their crop-related problems. He also enquired about power supply conditions at the Chinna Madaram electrical substation.
Earlier, Ramchander Rao participated in the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' programme in Nalgonda. He said the initiative was organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years of public service as a head of government. He also took part in a Swachh Bharat cleanliness activity at the venue.
Calling for service and cleanliness to become mass movements, Ramchander Rao urged BJP workers to carry forward Modi's vision and dedicate themselves to serving society and the nation.
During his tour, BJP leaders accorded him a welcome at Haliya. He subsequently reached Nagarjuna Sagar Dam, where he was scheduled to inspect the water levels and meet farmers affected by crop losses.
Ramchander Rao said the party would continue to directly engage with farmers and raise their concerns.
